Finding My Voice

This is the story of Lila, a young girl who struggles with selective mutism, a condition that causes her to become silent in certain social situations. Despite being a bright and kind-hearted child, Lila finds it difficult to interact with others outside of her home. Her condition affects her daily life and makes it difficult for her to make friends or participate in activities.

She practices speaking up in class and in social situations, and eventually is chosen to participate in the school play, a major achievement for her. Through it all, she continues to persevere and work towards her goal of overcoming her selective mutism.
